Hello everyone.  My name is Andrew Bowen, a member of Harvington Baptist Church, and I have recently come back from Uganda, where I have been helping with the teaching in the schools.

This was my second trip to Uganda.  My first was with a charity called A.F.R.I.C.A., and we visited the Kamuzinda school and children's village, and while there, I met up with some people from a Ugandan based charity called River Jordan Ministries.

This years trip, I went with a group from South Yorkshire, and we were working with River Jordan Ministries, teaching in some of their schools.

Here is a picture of the children of Greater Valley Children's School lining up for classes.  Usually, when the children are lined up, they spend about half an hour singing songs.  Our team is on the left, being introduced by Moses, in the black shirt, one of the pastors of River Jordan Ministries.

When we went over, we took some parachutes over for the children to play with.  Me and another lady called Leigh were in charge of the sports activities, and were teaching the children different games that could be done with the parachute, as well as teaching other ball games.
